Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Endleaf app and this website, both provided by Handler Labs LLC ("Handler Labs," "we," or "us"). By using Endleaf, you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app and is incorporated here by reference; where it conflicts with these terms as to your license to use the app, Apple's terms control.

Using Endleaf

Endleaf is a personal reading tracker. You may use it for your own reading records. The content you create, including your library, ratings, reviews, notes, and quotes, is yours. Quotes you save are personal notes for your own reference; please respect the copyright of the books you read.

Subscriptions

Endleaf offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription, plus a one-time Lifetime purchase. Premium is available as: Monthly, $3.99 per month (no free trial); Annual, $24.99 per year, which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers (you are not charged until the 7-day trial ends, after which the annual price is charged unless you cancel during the trial); and Lifetime, a one-time $49.99 purchase that is not a subscription and does not renew. The free trial applies to the Annual plan only; the Monthly plan has no free trial. Prices here are listed in U.S. dollars for reference; the App Store shows the exact price in your local currency before you buy, and prices may vary by country or region.

Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple Account, not by Handler Labs. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can view, manage, cancel, or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple Account settings (on your device: Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the subscription.

If we change the recurring price of a subscription, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to agree to the new price before your next renewal; if you do not agree, your subscription will not auto-renew at the new price. Price decreases may apply automatically to your next renewal.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by Handler Labs. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple's process at https://support.apple.com/HT204084 (reportaproblem.apple.com). Except where required by law, all charges are subject to Apple's refund policies.

Book metadata

Book details and covers come from third-party catalogs (Google Books and Open Library) and are provided as is. We do not guarantee their accuracy, and you can always edit a book's details by hand.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or the service in ways that harm other users or us. Endleaf is provided for lawful personal use.

Termination

You may stop using Endleaf at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access to the app or website if you materially breach these terms or misuse the service. Because your reading data is stored on your own device and in your own iCloud, ending these terms does not delete that data; you control it and can delete it in the app (Settings > Your Data) or by removing the app.

Disclaimer and liability

Endleaf is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Handler Labs is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app and, where it conflicts with these terms as to your license to use the app, Apple's terms control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are written in English; if we provide a translation, the English version is authoritative and controls if there is any conflict, and translations are provided for your convenience.
